PSG president tells Liverpool: 'We want Suarez'

Liverpool striker Luis Suarez is wanted by the mega-rich Paris Saint Germain, the club president revealed.

The billionaire Nasser Al-Khelafi, President of the Qatar Sports Investment, which has already been used on a handful of high-profile stars such as PSG for groping to recover as a major force in European football.

And he admitted that the club could be about to bid on the star striker of Liverpool, just over a year since he arrived in Merseyside.

Suarez has had a roller-coaster career in the Premier League with 10 goals in 34 games, but also an eight-match ban for racist abuse by Patrice Evra.

And PSG could be about to offer him a fresh start when they begin to reconstruct the more ambitious plans for the summer.

Al-Khelafi, additional hours of spoken French magazine, said: "We are already on the market for next season.

"We have clear goals in mind. It is true that we want, Luis Suarez and Gonzalo Higuain.

"Our real short-term goal is to win the Champions League, and find a new Messi".
